A partnership between Manbat and the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has won a number of awards for its brand development work at a major event for the creative industry, which was held recently in Dubai.
Manbat, an initiative designed to celebrate and promote the best of the UAE’s healthy, home-grown produce won two Gold awards at the Transform MEA Awards, including ‘Best strategic or creative development for a new brand’ and ‘Best use of a visual property’.
The awards for Manbat capped a successful night for Arada, which was also honoured for its work on two other brands: Origins Koffee Lab & Kitchen and Hungry Wolves.
Origins won three Silver awards for ‘Best use of a visual property,’ ‘Best use of packaging’ and ‘Best visual identity from the food and beverage sector’ while the Hungry Wolves brand was Highly Commended in the ‘Best use of a visual property’ category.
Melissa Bayik, Senior Creative Director at Arada, said: “We are delighted to see that our development work on these three brands has been recognised by the Transform Awards, a globally recognised platform that focuses on excellence in a wide range of categories.
“In particular, we are pleased to see that Manbat has won two Gold awards, which is testament to the success of our partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.”
Arada was also recently recognised by MOCCAE for its efforts towards positive collaboration during a separate reception also held recently in Dubai.
The award was presented by HE Sultan Alwan, Acting Under-Secretary at MOCCAE, during a reception to recognise business leaders playing pioneering roles in sustainability and environment-focused programmes in the UAE.
Ray Tinston, Director of Events at Arada, said: “We are proud to be recognized by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment for our efforts to positively impact the UAE environment and the communities we serve. We look forward to expanding our partnership with the Ministry both via Manbat and other new initiatives that will be announced soon.
“This acknowledgement is thanks to our ongoing effort to become a top-tier private sector partner to the public sector in the UAE, our mission to support farmers in the country and our ambition to become a leader in the development of sustainable communities.”
