Raimondi Cranes SpA, established in 1863, today announced the appointment of Patrick Gigante to the role of Commercial Manager overseeing the territories of North America and the Caribbean. “Patrick’s extensive history in the crane industry, specifically the tower crane segment in North America and across the Caribbean islands, will prove invaluable to Raimondi as we continue to scale,” said Eng. Mauro Masetti, Raimondi Cranes Commercial Director. “Together with Raimondi’s management, Patrick will be bringing our full range of tower and luffing cranes to the respective markets under his purview, while establishing a strong network of agents helping to invigorate the company’s market share.”
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the commercial segment to add vitality to the North American market, and that of the Caribbean islands. Raimondi’s innovative engineering and design teams have introduced an expanded range of higher capacity cranes perfectly suited to the demands of the American and Canadian markets. Further, Raimondi has demonstrated readiness to adapt based on all-important client feedback; this is a rare attribute in a heavy lifting machinery manufacturer,” said Gigante. He added that early conversations have already confirmed that potential customers in North America look favorably to the MRT294 topless tower crane and the LR213 luffing jib crane. “Listening to the industry’s needs and providing a reliable, quality product that works, together with a support staff to keep it that way are just a few of the factors that made Raimondi Cranes attractive to me.”
Having transitioned from his corporate career in finance and sales in 2002, Gigante has spent the past 16 years in the tower crane sector. With an extensive professional network specialized in assisting international clients find cost effective, reliable cranes, Gigante’s expertise will be put to work strategizing new market entry and relationship development. “Working directly with one of the larger manufacturers as well as one of largest crane rental fleets in the industry, I gleaned a tremendous amount of information about both manufacturing and fleet management, and really understood what clients and operators needed. In terms of real world application, problems, and solutions, I often went onsite to work directly with the technicians,” said Gigante.
In his role as Commercial Manager of North America and the Caribbean, Gigante will be reporting to Eng. Mauro Masetti, Commercial Director of Raimondi Cranes. Gigante’s appointment follows the appointment of Wael Hassan as Middle East Commercial Manager, part of Raimondi’s tier one human capital recruitment drive, planned to support the company’s larger overall commercial impact tactics.
